Odsonne Edouard has been linked with multiple clubs, in claims going back more than a year.

The Celtic striker has caught the attention of teams around Europe, and it’s only a perceived difficulty to sign him which has stopped many taking moves forward.

That’s likely to be different for Premier League clubs, and West Ham have been brought into the picture recently.

ASRomaLive cover interest from their local club, and there’s not a lot of confidence that the Serie A side can compete with West Ham for the Celtic player. According to the report, ‘West Ham are in pole position’ and are in repeat contact with the striker’s entourage over a transfer in the summer window.

AS Roma likely wouldn’t want to match the transfer fee needed, which is thought to be around €20m. Such a figure isn’t so prohibitive for West Ham, and there’s clearly a good chance David Moyes can get this signing in if his interest is as genuine as presented.
