Earlier on Wednesday, we covered reports from the Danish media claiming that FC Copenhagen were ‘very close’ to signing Nathan Trott from West Ham United.
It was claimed that the operation was set to be concluded for around £1.7m, with some confidence about a quick outcome.
Now as Tipsbladet features a fresh story on the negotiations, they claim that Trott’s move from West Ham to Copenhagen is almost done.
It’s claimed that the Danish club will buy the goalkeeper for €1.5m, with a potential further €360k in bonuses.
Trott is then set to have his medical with Copenhagen at the weekend, and is expected to sign a four-year contract with the club.
The goalkeeper hadn’t been of much use for Wsest Ham lately. Following his official promotion to the first team in the summer of 2022, he ended up joining Vejle BJ on a two-year loan.
The player made 56 appearances for the Danish side, with just 52 goals concedede and 22 clean sheets. That’s where he drew the interest from Copenhagen, who were apparently quick to get a deal done for him.
