This weekend Calciomercato have a very small article on M’Bala Nzola.

Napoli are said to be interested in the Spezia player, and it’s pointed out that both West Ham and Newcastle United are also in the picture to sign him.

The 24-year-old has scored eight goals in 12 Serie A matches so far this season, which is a very good return. It’s even better when it’s considered Spezia have only scored 21 goals in total in the league, so Nzola is clearly very important for them.

Given he was playing in Serie B last season, the return looks even better and it’s no surprise the attacker, who switches between a striker role and the right wing, is attracting attention.

West Ham were linked back in November, when it was claimed they and Newcastle had moved for the player, presumably ahead of the January market.

Given the Hammers are now in need of a recruit for their attack, it makes sense for these links to appear in the Italian media again.
