Arkadiusz Milik’s situation continues to be up in the air.

Napoli have been trying to stick to their guns and are demanding €18m for the signing, yet their position must surely be weakening given the player’s contract expires at the end of June.

Juventus have long been keen, however they’d prefer to wait until the summer and get the player on a free transfer. Corriere dello Sport state that in England there’s interest from West Ham United, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Of those three clubs it’s thought West Ham and Newcastle have the advantage, due to Harry Kane’s dominance at Tottenham. Jose Mourinho wouldn’t be able to give Milik a lot of minutes, and that could still see him miss out on Euro 2020 with Poland.

Alternatively, West Ham and Newcastle could give the striker more of a leading role, and that would enable him to be much readier for next summer’s championships.

A lot will depend on how important Euro 2020 is to the Napoli player, because if it’s not then he may choose to wait and get his dream move to Juventus.
