Juventus striker Simone Zaza is reportedly on the verge of completing his move to West Ham. Yesterday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Juventus have accepted an offer of €25m plus €3m in bonuses from West Ham for Simone Zaza.
The 25-year-old has also accepted a five year contract offer from West Ham worth €3.5m/season.
According to Gazzetta on Friday, West Ham met Zaza’s representatives yesterday to find a ‘definitive agreement’ on wages. Gazzetta, however, now believe the player has been offered a four-year contract worth €3.5m/season.
The Italian daily say the meeting was positive, and that the ‘white smoke’ is near. The player is expected to travel to London for medical examinations in the ‘coming days’.
West Ham are looking to reinforce their squad after injuries to a number of players, and Zaza could be a brilliant signing for the London club.
