West Ham midfielder Nikola Vlasic has made it clear to loan club Torino that he wants them to make his move a permanent one at the end of the season.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who say the player is enjoying his time with the Italian club and has sent ‘clear’ signals that he wants to extend his stay.
They report that the player ‘strongly wanted’ the move from West Ham in the summer, having been convinced by manager Ivan Juric that he would be a key player under him and shine once again.
That has happened, with the Croatian quickly establishing himself in the team and putting in a series of impressive performances since his arrival from the London Stadium.
He now wants to stay where he is and has made that clear to the Italian club, who have a €15m option in his loan deal for the end of the season.
That’s a high figure for Torino to pay, having only paid more for a player twice, but it is also a figure that is lower than what Vlasic should cost after the performances he’s put in so far. He is therefore considered ‘not cheap, but a bargain’.
And now they’ve received signals from the West Ham man that he would like to continue the partnership, making it more likely they will decide to spend what is needed to get him permanently.
