LOSC Lille are eyeing a potential move for West Ham United’s Nayef Aguerd as they look to replace Leny Yoro.
That’s according to L’Equipe, who say the defender’s move to Manchester United has opened up the door for a potential move for the West Ham man.
Yoro moved to Old Trafford in a €70m deal earlier this month, a good deal for the French club considering he was in the final year of his deal that has given them ample funds to find a replacement.
They are keen to get those efforts underway and are considering two names at present. West Ham’s Aguerd and Marseille’s Samuel Gigot.
Both are just ‘under consideration’ for now and any move for the West Ham man would be on a potential loan deal for.
Les Dogues are not the only club interested in the defender, who wants to leave the London Stadium, as Atletico Madrid are also potentially eyeing a deal for him.
It seems neither side have made concrete moves as yet and the Moroccan defender is simply on their lists as they plan for this summer.
With Lille needing a replacement for Yoro, and Aguerd keen to leave West Ham, there is the potential for this to pick up quickly in the coming weeks.
