Nikola Vlasic has been labelled as Torino’s ‘most exciting talent’ as he continues to flourish away from West Ham United.
The midfielder joined the Italian side on loan from West Ham in the summer, having fallen out of favour under David Moyes and been deemed surplus to requirements following the arrival of Lucas Paqueta.
He’s proven to be a big hit at Torino since his arrival, quickly establishing himself as a key player and regaining his confidence.
Per Sempre Napoli cover Torino today ahead of their next game and explain how the Serie A side ‘rely heavily’ on their attacking front three but it is Vlasic whom their fortunes often ‘depend on’.
He was ‘underwhelming’ at West Ham but remains a ‘crystalline talent’ and is eager to relaunch himself at the highest level during his time in Italy.
That’s something he’s doing early in the campaign, taking advantage of the lower pace in Serie A and ‘taking the stage’ by ‘displaying undoubted technical qualities’.
Key to that has been his relationship with manager Ivan Juric, who he has created a ‘special bond’ with, something that has helped to ‘cure’ him following his ‘traumatic English experience’.
Juric reportedly forced the West Ham loanee to work on his weakness to become a ‘complete offensive player’ and it has worked a treat.
Basically, so far, Vlasic is enjoying himself considerably.
