Here’s something we thought we’d never write, but the most popular man on the market at the moment is Moussa Sissoko.
Teams like Manchester United, Juventus and even Paris Saint-Germain have all been touted as potential destinations for the 26-year-old, but it’s West Ham who are apparently in the lead now, according to Le10 Sport.
The London club are said to have contacted the player’s entourage to let them know of their interest, but it’s with Newcastle where the problem is likely to lie.
Newcastle made it clear they wouldn’t sell for less than £35m, which seems to be information either ignored or tactically dismissed by the French website, as they claim Newcastle would be willing to start discussion at around €20m (£16.7m)
This seems extremely low, and because of that, we’re not really prepared to believe this one just yet.
