Earlier this month, West Ham United confirmed Niclas Füllkrug will be out for several weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in the FA Cup tie against Aston Villa.

He joined Michail Antonio in the injury list and the duo’s absence has seen West Ham look for a new striker in the winter market.

West Ham are already linked to several strikers and journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims they have added Napoli’s Giacomo Raspadori to their list.

The Italy international’s game time has been limited this season as he clocked in less than 300 minutes from 11 league games. West Ham and Marseille could offer him an escape route and made approaches for a rapid signing.

According to Di Marzio, the English club and Marseille have ‘moved to request’ information about the 24-year-old. However, ‘there is no opening’ from Antonio Conte’s side as they don’t have a substitute for him.

Sky Italia mention Graham Potter’s side approaching to sign Raspadori, an attempt which hasn’t been entertained by Napoli. They add the Naples club ‘need to find a replacement first’.

This indicates Napoli could let Raspadori go in this window if they sign a new attacker in the next few days.
