On June 5th, Revista Colorada explained that West Ham United have tabled a €8m offer to sign Internacional’s Vitão.

Four days later, the same outlet stated the Hammers are set to advance talks to try to secure a deal for the centre-back.

UOL back up West Ham’s €8m bid and then provide their own information on this case.

It’s claimed the Brazilian club have rejected the Premier League side’s proposal for the 24-year-old. This comes after they turned down a €9m bid from Real Betis, as these offers didn’t meet their expectations.

Internacional’s decision to reject offers from both West Ham and the La Liga side won’t put them off as the report says they ‘are still keen on the Brazilian. This means the London club returning with an improved offer isn’t ruled out.

The Brazilian club signed the player on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2022, and that’s set to be converted into a five year permanent deal.

UOL state Internacional are demanding €12m for Vitão, which means €4m more would be needed from West Ham. Perhaps they can meet somewhere in the middle.

Nottingham Forest are also keen on the player.
