Inter Milan have decided to allow Christian Eriksen to leave in January after the midfielder failed to fit into Antonio Conte’s plans at the San Siro.

On December 30th, Corriere dello Sport explained West Ham United have made a ‘few enquires’ for the 28-year-old, but ‘only for a loan’.

The Hammers were advised to change the formula because the Serie A side are not in favour of allowing the playmaker go out on a temporary deal, unless there’s a firm buying option.

According to FcInterNews, the former Spurs star remains keen on reuniting with Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain.

The new PSG manager wants to evaluate the players at his disposal before making any decision on transfers. Waiting to find out Pochettino’s plans would not be an ideal situation for the Nerazzurri, who are looking for a new club for the Denmark international.

Inter are using the help of ‘trusted intermediaries’ to find a new destination for the player in the winter market. The opportunity to join either Valencia or Hertha Berlin doesn’t please Eriksen as he is looking for ‘something better’.

It’s claimed the Dane ‘would like to return to the Premier League’, where to date, only West Ham are making ‘concrete moves’.

FcInterNews adds West Ham are not exactly a ‘big one’, suggesting the London side are not viewed as a ‘big’ club by Eriksen.
