According to a claim in the Turkish media, West Ham United are looking to move in on Galatasaray forward Barış Alper Yılmaz.
The Turkey international has been brought to the attention of a number of Premier League sides in recent following his impressive performances in Euro 2024.
Sabah today report Yılmaz is a target for the Premier League side as they look to strengthen their attack ahead of next season. It’s claimed West Ham will table an offer of €35m in the coming days for the 24-year-old but need to convince Galatasaray over a deal.
The Turkish champions are said to be keen to keep hold of one of their key players going into the Champions League next season and despite interest from English clubs they will look to convince him on staying at the club.
Brighton & Hove Albion, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham have all been linked with the player in recent weeks.
He started 28 Super Lig games last season, scoring seven goals. Yılmaz is contracted to Galatasaray until June 2027.
