West Ham United and Leeds United have Sevilla goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, also known as Bono, on their agenda.
That’s according to Fichajes.net, who state the 31-year-old has a market in England and could leave the La Liga side after this season.
His performances have seen the Premier League sides show interest and that’s when West Ham and Leeds are tagged. These two sides have the Morocco international in their sights, with a view for next summer.
The custodian’s current deal runs down in 2024 and without an extension, the Andalusian club could be forced to cash in from his sale in the summer of 2023.
With David Moyes’ side and the Whites keeping tabs on Bono, Sevilla chief Monchi would be forced to look for a new keeper, if the Moroccan decides to part ways with the Spanish club.
Łukasz Fabiański is the first-choice keeper at West Ham and the 37-year-old’s deal expires in 2023. Alphonse Areola is providing cover and competition to the Pole. His compatriot, Illan Meslier, has cemented his place at Leeds.
The Hammers could be more suited for Bono next summer, if they decide not to offer a new deal to Fabiański.
