West Ham United continue being named as one of the clubs in the race for Spezia striker M’Bala Nzola.

This time it’s newspaper Tuttosport who claims the Hammers are one of the clubs currently monitoring his form at the Serie A side.

There’s not a lot of information on his transfer situation, since the newspaper’s article is mostly focused on the story of his early days as a player.

However, West Ham’s interest seems to be something that’s getting some strong attention from the Italian media.

The chase from the Hammers was first reported in November and started showing up again this month.

Calcio Mercato reawakened the rumours by claiming the Premier League side are still ‘on the front row’ for the signing, and then ClubDoria46 brought similar claims by including the club in a list of pretenders.

Nzola has just arrived at Spezia following a move from Trapani last summer. He’s been impressing with nine goals in 13 Serie A matches so far.
