West Ham are one of the busiest Premier League teams at the start of the summer market. The Hammers have had a big concentration on Brazil and they should be able to conclude at least a couple of transfers from there.
That isn’t the only business that West Ham, and their sporting director Tim Steidten, are currently dealing with, as claims come from Italy of an approach regarding Nehuén Pérez.
The 23-year-old Argentine plays for Udinese and has also been of interest to Napoli. According to the Gianluca Di Marzio’s report, Antonio Conte’s new club offered €16m for a deal in the winter market, but were knocked back.
Presumably any move would have to be for more than that bid.
West Ham have made initial contact, and that was likely to find out the financials involved in a transfer and whether the player himself would be up for the move.
There’s no indication yet over what the outcome is, or Pérez’s view of a transfer to the London club.
