Juventus are considering a move for West Ham United’s Nayef Aguerd this summer, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 29-year-old will have to return to West Ham after spending this season on loan at Real Sociedad. They are looking for another loan deal, but claims from Spain have stated the Hammers want to sell him.

Di Marzio states the centre-back is on his way out of West Ham and Juventus want to sign him. In fact, their ‘interest is concrete’ and they’re considering a specific formula to secure Aguerd’s services.

The Serie A club are in contact with Graham Potter’s side, who like Juve’s Daniele Rugani. The journalist says the 30-year-old Italian is an experienced and reliable defender and can fit right into the Premier League club’s plans.

This has seen Juventus explore the possibility of a swap deal involving the two defenders. Di Marzio reports the two clubs are ‘evaluating the feasibility of the operation’, which is in the ‘initial phase’.

Sky Italia also state West Ham like Rugani and have been in contract with Juventus to ‘set up’ a possible exchange deal involving the two defenders.
