West Ham United midfielder Guido Rodriguez ‘must be convinced’ that his time at the club is over amid interest from Juventus.

That’s according to Gazetta dello Sport. They cover the midfielder today and Juventus’s sudden interest in the midfielder.

They follow on a report yesterday that Juventus are interested in Rodriguez as they look to bolster their midfield options in the January transfer window.

The newspaper states that Rodriguez is ‘highly regarded’ by the Bianconeri as a potential reinforcement for Luciano Spalletti’s squad.

The Italian giants are ‘seriously considering’ a move and have already contacted West Ham to find out if he’s available. The Hammers have answered positively, insisting that Rodriguez is for sale.

The big problem is that Rodriguez ‘must first be convinced’ to accept that his time in the Premier League is over. He rejected offers from the Saudi Pro League in the summe. He was convinced, he could prove his worth at the London Stadium.

That hasn’t proven to be the case and now Juventus are offering him another exit. They believe they can offer Rodriguez the right stage upon which to relaunch himself after his bad experience in London. The question is whether he feels similarly.
