West Ham United have been active in the winter market and completed the signings of Taty Castellanos and Pablo Felipe.
Gil Vicente coach César Peixoto this week explained he’s gutted over losing Pablo.
West Ham have already signed two attackers and are still looking to strengthen their attack in January. That’s according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, and he reports West Ham are in the mix to sign Benfica’s Andreas Schjelderup.
The left winger has played 967 minutes from 21 matches this season, including five starts, scoring two goals and contributing two assists.
Di Marzio claims the Norway international could change clubs this month to secure regular game time. Parma have been pursuing a deal for him and have to be wary of West Ham and AS Roma.
The journalist claims these two clubs are showing interest in the 21-year-old. Roma are looking at him as an alternative, if they fail to secure other targets.
Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are presented as keen. Di Marzio claims ‘keep an eye on West Ham’ as they ‘entered negotiations’ for Schjelderup.
A January move could be on the cards, and the Hammers can offer the Norwegian an escape route should he so wish. Jose Mourinho’s side will have the final say.
