A Bola have revealed the two Premier League clubs sent representatives to Lisbon last night. The game ended in a 1-1 draw with former Benfica attacker Talisca scoring in injury time to level the match.

West Ham and Crystal Palace were also joined by fellow Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. There have been no reports who these clubs were watching, but West Ham have been linked with Besiktas star Oguzhan Ozyakup this year.

Last season West Ham and Crystal Palace were seen in Portugal several, but it was the Hammers who made frequent trips to the country for Champions League games. The East London club were at the clash between Porto and Maccabi Tel Aviv, followed by the Portuguese club’s game with Dynamo Kiev.

Despite Sam Allardyce’s departure last year the club continued to make the trips to Portugal.
