As things stand, West Ham appear to be the busiest club in England on the transfer market, signing all of the goalkeepers.

However, it isn’t just shot stoppers they are targeting, as L’Equipe in France claim they, alongside Crystal Palace, are taking an interest in AC Ajaccio’s Davis Abanda.

The French newspaper posted an article on their website on Tuesday claiming that both the Hammers and the Eagles are ‘following’ the 18-year-old ‘closely’.

Davis Abanda is the twin brother of Milan left-back Leroy Abanda and has yet to break into the Ligue 2 side’s first-team, but that hasn’t stopped him from catching the eye of the two Premier League clubs last season.

In fact, L’Equipe believe Crystal Palace could be the ones to make the first move, getting in touch with the midfielder’s entourage ‘quickly’.

Abanda scored five goals for Ajaccio’s reserves this season and has a year left on his deal with the Corsican club.
