Once heavily linked with a move to some of the big clubs in the Premier League, Saïd Benrahma has seen the names of certain sides, like Chelsea and Arsenal, come and go only to be replaced with others outside of European football.
Now, it’s West Ham’s and Crystal Palace’s turn to be linked with a move for the Brentford star, as Le10 Sport explain the ‘dossier’ regarding his exit from the Bees is ‘entering the final straight’.
According to their information, it’s the Hammers and the Eagles fighting it out for the 25-year-old, who is valued by Brentford at £25m.
As things stand, Le10 explain the Championship club, who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Premier League last season, have only received offers ‘slightly under €20m’ for their winger.
However, the French website believe ‘the dossier is close to being completed’, although who by they don’t say.
One thing they seem certain about, though, is that ‘the former Nice player should join the Premier League this season’, and it’s likely to be under either David Moyes or Roy Hodgson.
