Simone Zaza’s name has been linked to the Premier League again. Despite being considered a good prospect, the 25 year old striker hasn’t been getting many chances at Juventus and his situation is far from being certain.
Tuttosport has an article today saying the player isn’t on the transfer list as such, but Juventus can’t rule out a sale due to his unimpressive season at the club. A few ‘flashbacks’ could be happening again, as Crystal Palace and West Ham have already bid for him in the winter window.
The Turin newspaper say the bids were of €28m, but Juventus would demand at least €30m to accept a sale. Then, they would leave the decision in the player’s hands.
Zaza scored eight goals in 24 appearances for Juve last season. Chelsea, Leicester and Arsenal have all been linked to the player this year, but the Hammers and Palace would appear to have more serious interest.
Zaza introduced himself to a wider audience on Saturday evening when he took an absolutely ridiculous penalty against Germany and saw his side crash out of Euro 2016.
