Milliyet claim Besiktas are ready to bring their midfielder Tolgay Arslan back to the team after the player was left out of the squad due to disciplinary issues.

The Turkish newspaper report Besiktas are doing this because the club’s board believe Gary Medel will leave for West Ham United in the new year.

It’s claimed Besiktas will again sit down with West Ham with regards to the Chilean international and it’s understood Medel is keen on playing in the Premier League once again, this time under his compatriot Manuel Pellegrini.

There have been recent reports the Hammers travelled to Istanbul to hold initial transfer talks with the Super Lig club

According to Milliyet, Besiktas are now likely to keep hold of Arslan to replace Medel and they say the Turkish giants will be hoping they can reach an agreement with West Ham during the next phase of discussions.

Medel is under contract at Besiktas until June 2020.
