There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Galatasaray are showing interest in West Ham United forward Crysencio Summerville.

The Super Lig leaders are looking to add to their squad this month and the Dutchman has emerged as a target. Gala have already looked to the Premier League for new players, with Manchester United’s Manuel Ugarte a possibility.

Despite their interest, the Uruguayan is now likely to remain at Old Trafford with the appointment of Michael Carrick.

Fotospor today report on Galatasaray’s pursuit for the West Ham player, with Okan Buruk keen to strengthen his attacking options.

Cimbom are still fighting on all fronts and have a realistic chance of making it to the Champions League knock stages. They currently lie just outside the seeded qualifying play-off places, going into the final two games.

Subsequently, Buruk wants to bring in players before the deadline and Summerville has been added to the Istanbul side’s wish-list.

However, at this stage the West Ham forward isn’t seen as their first choice, so is just a back up plan if key targets aren’t signed.

Attacker keen on West Ham exit

The 24-year-old is also said to be keen to leave the Hammers due their situation. The East London club currently find themselves in a relegation battle despite the arrival of Nuno Espírito Santo.

With four defeats and one draw in the last five games, West Ham are now seven points from safety. This weekend they travel to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, in a game they can’t really lose.

Summerville joined West Ham from Leeds United in 2024 for a fee in the region of £25m. He’s made 17 appearances so this season, scoring one goal and adding four assists.

The attacker is contracted to the Premier League side until June 2029, with the option of another season.
