Wolves have constantly been linked with a move for Lazio’s Christos Mandas over the past few months. Now, West Ham are emerging as a candidate for the goalkeeper.

Calciomercato take a look at the Greek’s situation in Rome, as he hasn’t played a single Serie A game this season. He was more involved in the 2024/25 campaign but hasn’t convinced Maurizio Sarri, who sees Ivan Provedel as his first-choice.

Mandas is likely to leave Lazio in January or the summer, with the Rome club having identified potential replacements.

The report claims that West Ham have previously made enquiries for the 24-year-old, having tried to sign him in the summer. The Hammers are still interested, with Greek clubs Panathinaikos and Olympiakos also among the suitors.

It is believed that Lazio want between €10-15m to sell the goalkeeper and this will allow them to make a major capital gain.

West Ham’s task is unlikely to be easy. This is because Juventus are also interested and are the most likely candidate to land him in January.

Mattia Perin has been linked with a move to Genoa. If he departs, the Bianconeri are expected to sign another goalkeeper next month.
