West Ham United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Leicester City and Brentford are all in the mix to sign Hertha BSC’s Ibrahim Maza in the summer window, according to Bild.
The 18-year-old has played 15 matches for the first team since making his senior debut in April 2023, of which the majority were this year.
Bild say the attacking midfielder was one of Hertha’s best players in recent months, and this has seen West Ham, Brighton, Leicester and Brentford take notice.
It’s further explained that the Germany U19 international has seen his valuation increase from €1.5m to €5m, and he’s currently the top valued player at Hertha, along with Fabian Reese and Pascal Klemens.
Maza has attracted interest from several clubs including West Ham, Brighton, Leicester and Brentford. The Premier League trio and the Championship winners have followed him in action for the second division German club.
Bild say Hertha requested €8m, rising to €10m with bonuses, when VfB Stuttgart recently approached them for Maza. Their asking price seems realistic now, indicating that West Ham, Brighton, Leicester and Brentford have to pay that fee in the next window.
Maza, for his part, wants to leave Hertha, and he will have options to pick from when deciding his next destination.
