Portuguese newspaper A Bola are reporting that West Ham United have watched a Porto match at the Estádio do Dragão once again.
The East London side have already sent officials there a few times this year, and last night it was to watch Porto’s Champions League game against Club Brugge.
The Hammers have been heavily linked to Vincent Aboubakar during the summer, but given his loan deal to Besiktas, it’s now hard to know who the English side are interested in.
The scouts watched Porto win Brugge 1-0, with a goal scored by André Silva. The striker, who has a €60m release clause, has 10 goals in 16 appearances this season.
Silva would be an ambitious striker target for West Ham, but given the club chased Carlos Bacca and Alexandre Lacazette during the summer, it would be no surprise if the Hammers fancied another shot a big target.
Players such as Iker Casillas, Iván Marcano, Alex Telles and Danilo Pereira all had a good part in Porto’s win, which left them in second place of Group G.
Atalanta, Aston Villa, Atlético Madrid, Osasuna, Barcelona, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, Celta Vigo, Chelsea, Eintracht Frankfurt, Eibar, Inter Milan, Juventus, Leicester, Manchester United, Monaco, Milan, Middlesbrough, Montpellier, Newcastle United, Sunderland, Sasuolo, Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal, West Bromwich Albion and Wolfsburg have all sent their scouts as well.
