West Ham United are expected to battle with other clubs for Real Madrid’s Endrick in the winter market.
That’s according to Wednesday’s edition of Sport, who say West Ham, Real Sociedad and Valencia are interested parties.
The striker was forced to miss the start of the season due to injury. He regained full fitness in mid-September but hasn’t made an appearance so far this season. Xabi Alonso has left the 19-year-old as an unused substitute in the last five matches.
Sport say the Brazil international will have few opportunities and that’s unlikely to change unless he seriously impresses when given minutes. If the situation doesn’t improve, he risks missing out on the World Cup.
Real Madrid are open to letting Endrick go out on loan in January. There’s shortage of options, and the newspaper states the ‘best placed’ teams are West Ham, Real Sociedad and Valencia. The three clubs are looking to improve their attack and Endrick ‘fit their needs’.
El Desmarque also report West Ham, La Real and Valencia are keen on signing Endrick on loan.
It’s claimed Real Madrid are considering sanctioning a temporary move. Their intention is to send him on a dry loan deal, to get minutes and gain experience. The Hammers are considering the South American to revive their attack, while Los Ches are the most interested Spanish club.
The Brazilian could push for a move in January if he continues to spend his time on Real Madrid’s bench.
