In search of a new striker, West Ham United are having a look around the European market to see who could be of use to David Moyes.
A variety of names have been floating about, but a new one has popped up on Friday evening courtesy of Foot Mercato in France.
That is Ludovic Ajorque, currently at Strasbourg in France, who has 10 goals and six assists to his name in 18 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.
The towering 27-year-old is a good 6’4” tall, making his physique ideal for the Premier League, and it’s stated the Hammers are ‘attentively following’ the player’s performances.
While it’s made clear it’s ‘unlikely’ that Strasbourg will let their star striker leave midway through the season, they do state the club ‘could be attentive to important offers next summer’.
This certainly seems like a difficult one to pull off in January, but crazier things have happened in the world of football.
