Despite West Ham United and Everton still being in the middle of a relegation battle, they continue to be linked with players ahead of the transfer window that would be unlikely to join them should they be relegated.
The same cannot be said for Aston Villa, as Unai Emery has guided the Villans to impressive heights since taking over, with the 3-0 win over Newcastle at the weekend an example of how far they have come under the Spaniard.
Still, the Villa Park residents, Everton and West Ham are all said to be interested in Joaquin Correa, currently at Inter Milan, according to Inter Live.
The Toffees have seen their name associated with the Argentine a number of times in recent weeks, while the Hammers and the Villans tend to come hand in hand at times when it comes to these types of players.
That’s because Correa has struggled to get much game time this year, and when he has done, it hasn’t gone well for him, with the fans often booing him, suggesting that a change of scenery is needed in his career.
This is something Inter are hoping for, with it said they would ‘sell him for €15m’.
It’s said that ‘hopefully’ the likes of West Ham, Aston Villa or Everton can move, because the trio are ‘in fact interested in the striker and could invest the amount requested by Inter without problems’.
However, the belief down the player’s end, at least from his entourage, is that he is ‘worth less’, perhaps in hope of facilitating a transfer even quicker.
