With Torino interested in keeping Nikola Vlasic beyond the current loan deal, the Serie A side are doing what they can to convince West Ham United to lower their demands.
The initial deal saw the two clubs agree on a future €15m fee, but in true Italian fashion, they have asked the Hammers if they could somehow pay less.
This has been ongoing for some time now, and while Vlasic continues to impress, West Ham aren’t really in a position to agree.
So, a report this week saw a claim that Davide Vagnati, the club’s director of sport, had met with the London side to discuss the situation.
In that meeting, it was reported he had offered Sasa Lukic as a potential way to lower the price, and wanted to see if West Ham were interested.
Well, it seems it’s caught their attention, as Tuttosport claim on Friday that the Hammers have ‘asked for information’ about the Serbia international.
The player’s future seems ‘further and further away’ from Turin, with Roma and Lazio also named as keen parties, providing competition for West Ham.
