West Ham United and Juventus have been battling it out for OGC Nice’s Jean-Clair Todibo.
On Sunday, we covered claims from Italy which stated the defender still wants to join the Serie A side, but the Hammers haven’t given up on this deal so far.
It was also said West Ham are in a tussle with Bologna to sign Toulouse’s Logan Costa. As well as these two centre-backs, the London club have another name in their target list.
That’s at least what FcInterNews are reporting, and they state Julen Lopetegui’s side have set their sights on Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck.
The 23-year-old joined the Nerazzurri from Danish side AGF in July 2023, and clocked in less than 1,200 minutes from 21 games in his debut season.
Despite the limited game time, the report says Bisseck showcased that he has qualities to play for a top team and this has caught the attention of other clubs, including West Ham.
It’s claimed the Premier League side have ‘already taken some steps’ to try and sign the defender in this window.
The Serie A winners paid €7.5m to buy the German and his valuation has tripled to €25m.
Bisseck’s aim is to get ahead of Benjamin Pavard in Simone Inzagghi’s starting lineup next season, but this won’t be easy to achieve. However, it shows he has ambition of cementing a place at the San Siro, which may make a potential deal difficult for West Ham.
