West Bromwich Albion are the latest club to show an interest in Palermo forward Franco Vazquez, according to claims in Italy. Vazquez could leave Palermo after their struggles last season, and the Argentine has already been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and Napoli.

TMW have revealed this morning that WBA are giving serious consideration to signing Vazquez this summer, and could soon look to move in on the player.

The Premier League side will be looking to bolster their attacking options in this transfer window giving their struggles in front of goal last season, and Vazquez is an option open to them.

However, WBA will face competition from Serie A sides to sign the forward with Napoli looking on in the background as they consider moving in for the Palermo star. Fiorentina have also been flirting with the idea signing Vazquez.

Tottenham Hotspur have also recently been linked with Vazquez after the president of Palermo revealed the North London club had enquired about the player.

Despite reports of Tottenham’s interest in Vazquez last month, AZ’s Vincent Janssen is the more likely attacker to arrive at White Hart Lane this summer, fitting the club’s needs better.
