West Bromwich Albion look set to be involved in an auction to sign Udinese star Jakub Jankto in the summer transfer window. The young Czech has impressed for the Serie A side this season, and has been linked with a number of clubs.

TMW have reported Arsenal are continuing to monitor Jankto, and could go up against Inter Milan or Juventus to sign the 21-year-old this summer. Udinese will listen to offers in the region of €15m, but this is likely to increase given the number of club’s interest in the Czech International.

Udinese had intentions to loan out the midfielder again this season, but the form he showed at Ascoli resulted in his parent club fast tracking him into the first team.

Last month we covered claims from Italy that West Brom had joined the race to sign Jankto. It was reported West Brom have travelled to Italy to get a lowdown on the player before making a possible move for him in the summer.

Tony Pulis will be looking to strengthen his in the next window, and Jankto is an option for the Premier League side. Growing interest in the player, from Arsenal and others, could provide difficult competition for West Brom.
