West Bromwich Albion are planning to sell winger Matheus Pereira in the summer, according to claims from Brazil today.

UOL says the Baggies are looking to make at least €20m with the payer’s departure in the next transfer window.

It’s claimed the club only set a price for the 24-year-old following a few approaches they’ve been getting for him.

There’s no information on which clubs have been interested in the player, although it’s said nearly all of them are from the Premier League.

Matheus Pereira signed for West Brom on loan from Sporting back in 2019. Following promotion to the Premier League, his transfer was made permanent for €8.25m last summer.

With five goals and three assists this season, the Brazilian continues being an important piece in the Baggies’ side, which makes him a valued player to make some money with.

With relegation being a real probability, West Brom would certainly have to let some of their talents go.
