Turkish newspaper Takvim report West Bromwich Albion are still interested in signing Jeremain Lens from Besiktas.
It’s reported West Brom sporting director Guilano Terraneo, who worked in Turkey with Fenerbahce a few seasons ago, is keen on signing the Dutchman.
According to Takvim, West Brom are expected to make an offer for Lens in the coming days and it’s stated Besiktas will listen to bids for the 30 year old if they come close to what the club feel his valuation is.
Lens joined Besiktas from Sunderland this year following an impressive loan spell at Fenerbahce the previous season. His performances earned him a recall to the national team.
However, the Duthman has failed to find his form with Besiktas and may be offloaded by the Turkish giants this summer.
Besiktas manager Senol Gunes is also looking for wingers to provide back up for Ricardo Qauresma and Ryan Babel, which could mean Lens is sold in this window.
