Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani refuses to confirm or deny if he wants to extend his stay at Valencia.

He and Umar Sadiq attended an event organised by one of Valencia’s sponsors, Škoda, on Wednesday. The winger spoke on several topics related to the La Liga side and El Desmarque relay his comments.

Last summer, Daniel Farke’s side allowed him to join the Spanish club on a season-long loan deal.

Ramazani endured a difficult start to his temporary spell at the Mestalla, mainly because of an injury.

Leeds United man not revealing plans

The 25-year-old picked up an ankle injury in October and until then, he hadn’t started for Los Ches. The injury forced him to spend time on the sidelines until December but had to wait until last month to make his first league start.

Ramazani has starred for Valencia since, scoring four goals in his last seven matches and three from his last four starts. The goal against Levante saw him win La Liga’s Goal of the Month award.

Last week, Sport Witness covered claims the upturn in his form has convinced the Spanish club to try and retain him beyond this season.

The Leeds United player was asked if he wants to continue at Valencia.

On this subject, he said: “I’m here to work, to keep going, and we’ll see what happens in the future. I’m going to keep working hard until the end of the season.”

Ramazani stats, value and agent info

The attacker left Manchester United as a free agent and joined UD Almería in 2020. He spent four years with the Spanish club, managing 22 goals and seven assists from 128 matches.

Although these numbers aren’t impressive, Leeds United decided to invest €7.7m to bring him to Elland Road in August 2024.

The Belgian impressed under Farke, scoring six goals and contributing two assists from 29 Championship matches. However, he had to leave them for Valencia on loan and has four goals and two assists from 20 matches this season.

Transfermarkt‘s valuation of the Belgian, who has a contract at Leeds United until 2028, is €6m.

Valencia would find it difficult to match the figures quoted above. Therefore, it won’t be possible for them to make his stay permanent in the summer.

The other option would be to extend the player’s loan after this season and the Premier League side will have a say on whether to sanction another temporary exit.

Carlos Corberán’s side will first have to convince the attacker and his agent, Ramazani Mwanuke. The representative is a family member and doesn’t manage another player.
