According to a claim in the Swedish media, Watford have almost reached an agreement to sign Östersund midfielder Ken Sema.

The Swede impressed for OFK in last season’s Europa League after Graham Potter’s side reached the knock out stages of the competition, before being eliminated by Arsenal.

Expressen today report Sema is likely to sign for Watford and it’s expected and there’s even talk of an upcoming medical once everything is sorted. It’s also claimed Watford could announce his arrival by the end of the week.

Sema is ‘on his way to London’ with agent Patrick Mörk and Watford need to finalise the details of the transaction.

The 24 year old will be the second Swedish player to arrive at Vicarage Road this summer after the Watford signing Ponuts Dahlberg in the last window, before loaning the goalkeeper back to IFK Goteborg.

Sema has been capped by Sweden but didn’t make the cut for the World Cup squad.
