Watford boss Walter Mazzarri is said to be keen on a reunion with Inter Milan defender Juan Jesus.

The Brazilian defender has lost his place in Roberto Mancini’s first team, after the arrivals of Joao Miranda and Jeison Murillo, and rumours suggest he could be looking to move elsewhere in search of regular playing time.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday, Inter are keen on selling Juan Jesus so that they can accommodate a new signing.

AS Roma are also interested in Juan Jesus, but the Italian newspaper claims Watford have already submitted an offer in the past few hours.

Gazzetta say Watford have the ‘right arguments’ to convince Inter and Juan Jesus, but haven’t revealed any further details of the offer.

Watford do have the resources to sign Juan Jesus, if they want him then the financials shouldn’t be too much of an issue and a deal could be reached.
