Watford signed Juan Carlos Paredes a couple of years ago from Granada, and the Ecuadorian international played a key role to bring them back to the Premier League.
Paredes, however, failed to make an impact in the Premier League, and managed just over 700 minutes of football last season.
Paredes is attracting interest from Turkish side Trabzonspor, and could be used in a swap deal for former Sunderland forward Dame N’Doye, reports Fotomac.
Parades is valued around €2m by Watford, who are interested in Dame N’Doye, so a swap deal works for both clubs.
However, Watford’s interest in Dame N’Doye doesn’t make much sense, as the player failed to make an impact during his loan spell at Sunderland, and it remains to be seen if there is anything concrete in these reports.
Watford and Walter Mazzarri could definitely target better players in the transfer market, and N’Doye simply doesn’t fit the bill.
