Watford are one of the sides showing an interest in 19-year-old winger Emanuele Rao after his release from SPAL.
That’s according to journalist Mirko Di Natale, who reports that Watford are showing a concrete interest in the youngster this summer.
He reports that the Hornets are one of several sides showing an interest in the winger, who finds himself as a free agent this summer.
He’s been released by SPAL after coming through their youth ranks, before going on to make 67 appearances in the first team, with six goals and three assists to his name.
He has interest in Italy too, with a report yesterday stating that Serie A champions Napoli were also exploring a potential move for him. That report stated that there was interest in England too, specifically in the Premier League, but did not name any clubs specifically.
Now Di Natale reports that it is Watford, who are a Championship side and not in the Premier League of course, who are seemingly one of the English suitors.
Whether they step that up or can beat the likes of Napoli to the 19-year-old’s signature, remains to be seen.
