Spanish outlet El Periódico de Aragón today has a pretty long story about the future of Watford loanee Luis Suarez.
On Monday, they had already claimed Real Zaragoza were interested in getting the player on a loan deal, and said the club had contacted the Hornets to know about the possibility.
And this Tuesday, the outlet claims Watford won’t take long to respond to the offer. The Premier League side will analyse the situation this week, and want the transfer sorted as soon as possible.
It’s claimed Suarez would have ‘no possibilities’ of playing for Hornets in the near future, and the club are happy to keep him loaned out to the Spanish second division.
Watford reportedly see the Zaragoza move with ‘good eyes’, since they consider it to be a step ahead for the player who has spent the last season on loan at Gimnastic.
However, several other clubs are interested in the signing, including Sporting Gijón, Mallorca, Cadiz and Almeria.
El Periodico de Aragón claims that despite the clubs’ wish to add a buying option to the deal, Watford don’t want that. They are afraid the player could have a great season in Spain and don’t want to have their hands tied with a sale at a low amount.
