Some Watford fans may not have noticed, but Marvin Zeegelaar is still a Hornet.

With a contract running until 2021, the 28-year-old hasn’t been used this season, and could soon be leaving the club.

Now the solution for his career could be found by the Pozzo family. Because as reported by Tutto Mercato Web this Wednesday, the left-back could me moving to Udinese, who share the same owners as the Premier League side.

The Italian website claims that Zeegelaar is ‘one step’ from making the move in the January window, as he would fix some mistakes the Serie A side did in the summer market.

However, the website doesn’t bring any details on how much would Udinese pay for the player. Zeegelaar was signed by Watford on a €3m deal from Sporting in 2017, and was used only 13 times by the Hornets, all in his first season in England. So the club aren’t really in a condition to demand a big fee.
