AC Milan’s interest in Gerard Deulofeu continues to be reported on in the Italian media.

Saturday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport explained the Serie A club are keen, and it was claimed the Spaniard isn’t completely satisfied with his time at Watford so far.

The problem for Milan was presented as the Pozzo family, with the Italian newspaper saying: ‘The Pozzo family don’t do loans’

That should have been the end of it, but Gazzetta continue the claims on Sunday.

It’s said the former Barcelona player would ‘like to return’ to Milan, where he spent a period on loan from Everton.

They could have had him back then permanently, or when Watford signed him, but didn’t pursue the deal.

Deulofeu is said to still have ‘good relations’ with many of the Milan squad, which it’s thought would make a return easier. The player would ‘gladly take a plane’ to Italy to complete the transfer, but Watford are the barrier.

It’s explained without a replacement, the Hornets wouldn’t let him leave, and wouldn’t let him go on loan anyway.
