Watford are yet to make a decision on youngster Kwadwo Baah, despite Fortuna Düsseldorf making it clear they want to terminate his loan deal this month.
That’s according to Rheinische Post, who say it is ‘unclear’ what ideas Watford have for the youngster at this moment in time.
Baah has been on loan with the German side since the summer, with the Hornets hoping he would get regular playing time to aid his development.
That has not proven to be the case, though, with Baah barely featuring and several reports making it clear that Fortuna have had enough.
A report last month stated that they ‘want to end’ the loan deal in the January transfer window but Watford would need to play along and accept that.
Whether they would do so was unknown, and it seems a decision is yet to be made with Rheinische Post reporting that it is ‘unclear’ what ideas the Championship club have in mind for the youngster.
Fortuna have not changed their minds and ‘would like to end’ the loan deal this month, so it appears there is a need for the two clubs to sit down and work things out in the coming weeks.
