Watford have made a bid for AC Milan full-back Fodé Ballo-Touré in the ‘last few hours’, with the player now deciding whether to make the move.
That’s according to Corriere dello Sport, who say Milan are working to thin out their squad and have received an offer from Watford to help on that front.
The newspaper explains that Milan want to thin out the squad by July 8th, when their players are set to return to Milanello for pre-season training.
They’ve received a ‘loan proposal’ from Watford for Ballo-Touré, who spent last season on loan at Fulham and only managed six appearances in the Premier League and 2% of the available minutes.
They’re not signing him permanently and he’ll be returning to Milan, but Watford have submitted a loan offer in the ‘last few hours’ for him.
They’re trying to get a deal over the line, although Ballo-Touré hasn’t made a decision about his future at this moment in time. He’s still deciding on whether to accept Watford’s proposal or wait things out and see what other options may be on the table.
