The rumours linking Gerard Deulofeu to AC Milan still exist, and will probably be dragged once again until the summer transfer window.

As Italian newspaper Tuttosport reports the Rossoneri’s interest in the Watford star today, they claim there’s something that could be a big obstacle in the chase.

They say the Hornets had already blocked Milan’s attempt in January, as the club wanted to use Deulofeu in their race for a Europa League spot.

Now as Watford continue having the same goal, playing in a UEFA competition would be another reason to keep the Spanish star.

Tuttosport adds that Deulofeu still thinks of how happy he was at Milan, and keeps the wish of returning to the club.

But it would be hard to ask Watford to sell him in the case they get a Europa League spot, and even if they accept, the Pozzo family wouldn’t let him leave for less than €40m.
