Last summer, Alisson Becker left AS Roma and made a switch to Liverpool.
The Serie A outfit replaced the Brazilian with Robin Olsen, who arrived at the Stadio Olimpico from Copenhagen.
If a report from Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport is to be believed, the goalkeeper’s future at Roma beyond this season remains uncertain and this has alerted clubs in England.
It’s claimed that Watford are ‘interested’ in the Sweden international and their owners, the Pozzo family, are willing to pay £10m to the Giallorossi to secure the 29-year-old’s services at the end of this campaign.
A part of the transfer fee will go to Olsen’s former club Copenhagen.
The report further explains the Hornets are not the only club interested in the shot stopper as the Malmo-born player is also ‘followed’ by AFC Bournemouth and Championship leaders Norwich City.
This season, Olsen has kept four clean-sheets and conceded 42 goals in 27 league games, while he has three more clean-sheets and 16 more goals conceded in the Champions League and Coppa Italia.
