Even if Gerard Deulofeu stays at Watford once the transfer window closes, there could still be one Spaniard leaving Vicarage Road before 11pm.

That man is Kiko Femenía, who, according to Marca, has become a target for Eibar.

The Spanish newspaper posted an article on their website on Monday explaining the club need to make three signings before the end of the day, including a new right-back.

That’s when they explain Femenía ‘could be an option’, while the club are also looking for a new winger and a fourth striker to add some depth to their squad.

The 29-year-old arrived at Watford from Alavés in 2017 on a free transfer and made 88 appearances in all competitions for the Hornets, scoring two goals and picking up three assists.

He has helped out at left-back and left-midfield this season when called upon by Vladimir Ivic, but it’s clear he isn’t the first choice, perhaps due to a desire to go elsewhere.

Either way, we’ll be keeping an eye on it.
